Kathleen Ginsberg
Kathleen joined The School as a founding faculty member of the 3rd grade team, bringing with her a diverse range of experiences in the fields of art and education. Early in her career she was a curatorial assistant at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and later worked as a graphic designer before she became a classroom teacher at P.S. 87, where she taught 2nd and 3rd grade. Prior to joining the faculty here, she was the Magnet School Coordinator for the Hudson River Museum, where she managed an educational partnership with four Yonkers public schools. She created and taught museum-based units of study for Pre-K through 8th grade, and served on several exhibition design teams as well. Outside of school, Kathleen spends a good deal of time creating pottery.
