Shamie Cuthbert
Shamie is a third-grade teacher at The School at Columbia University. A native New Yorker, Shamie has worked in a variety of school settings in New York City, including Ethical Culture Fieldston School, Corlears, and New York City Charter School of the Arts.
Shamie has a passion for writing and fostering creative learning environments. She has been teaching creative writing workshops in New York for the past 8 years. Shamie holds a Master of Science degree from Bank Street College of Education.
