Kristi Moy

Kristi Moy is a second grade teacher at The School at Columbia University. She knew she wanted to work in the education field since the 3rd grade, and that dream has led her to a fascinating journey in various school systems and educational platforms. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education and Child Studies from Vanderbilt University and an Ed.M in Mind, Brain, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her experiences in a classroom setting as a teacher and a learner has developed her passion for bridging the gap between curriculum and instruction and educational research. Her ultimate goal as an educator? Providing the tools and resources for her students so they can develop into independent, life-long learners. When she’s not in the classroom, Kristi can be found crafting, cycling in spin class, and exploring the food and art scene around the city.
