Debbie Cheatham

Debbie has been dancing since she was four years old! She trained on scholarship at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, as well as at the Paul Taylor School, North Carolina School of the Arts, and Jacob's Pillow. She has taught modern dance, creative movement, ballet, jazz, composition, and dance history in various K-12 settings. Debbie has created dance curricula for a number of schools. For the past three summers, she was invited to be the guest modern dance teacher at the Northern Ireland Summer Ballet School organized by the Royal Academy of Dance. She is very proud to be a teacher at The School and loves seeing her students dance everyday.
