Hannah Young

Hannah is an eighth grade Algebra teacher at The School at Columbia University. She came to The School after teaching in Brooklyn, NY for five years. Hannah holds her Bachelors from Brandeis University, her Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, and her Master of Arts in International and Comparative Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is continuing postgraduate studies in Sociology and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Hannah's passions include integrating social justice into math curricula and prioritizing social emotional learning in middle school. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys yoga, reading, and spending time outdoors with her dog.
